Rotary Club of New Bern’s ShamRockin’ Celebrates St. Paddy’s Day in Style
Gather your family and friends, get your green on, and join us for The Rotary Club of New Bern’s 2017 ShamRockin’ St. Patrick’s Celebration, Friday, March 17th! This year the event will be held at the beautiful North Carolina History Center, overlooking the Trent River.
The doors open at 6:00 pm and the ShamRockin’ will continue until 10:00 pm. The Chelsea Restaurant will serve up the best corned beef and cabbage found in Eastern North Carolina. R.A. Jeffries, as our beverage sponsor will offer your favorite beers and wine coolers.
During dinner, local musicians will have you doing a jig to Irish music. After dinner, dance the night away to the popular band, Trainwreck!
Tickets include dinner and admission and are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. There will be a cash bar of beer, wine coolers, sodas, and water. Tickets can be purchased at Mitchell’s Hardware, Halftime Pub, or by following this link.
This event is a fundraiser for The Rotary Club of New Bern’s grant program. Past proceeds from this event have assisted with funding iPads for the New Bern Boys’ and Girls’ Club, a security system for Habitat for Humany ReStore, and supported CarolinaEast’s Foundation’s Breakfast with Santa.
